Now the water is getting colder and days shorter many lakes have reduced their operating hours, but that's not to say you should stop swimming. 

Here at longside Lake, we provide Cold Water sessions all winter, and the benefits of participating can dramatically improve your physical and mental health. The benefits can help you feel better and more active, especially when the days are grey and you seem to be indoors more than outside. 

Although lakes close or reduce their hours, we've put together some of the best places to swim in and around london & Surrey. Taking advantage of multi lakes means you get more chances to swim each week, and each lake has something different to offer.

Shepperton Lakes

Ideal for triathletes and open-water race preparation, offering a chance to practice in a realistic setting. Options for different swim distances cater to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.

Docklands 

Urban Setting Swim in a unique urban environment with stunning views of the city skyline. The lake has Well-organized events with lifeguards and safety boats to ensure a secure swimming experience.

The SHAC

SHAC Reigate offers well-maintained pools and changing areas, providing a comfortable environment for swimmers of all levels. Along with a variety of swim programs, including lessons for beginners, competitive training, and recreational swimming, cater to different age groups and skill levels.
